My Aunt and went here ,they had great chillie rellenos but very expensive for 2 people , 45 bucks? the waiter tried to talk us into the seafood platter , and seemed annoyed when we didnt order it , I dont go to mexican restaurants for seafood , then as we were leaving the waiter kept saying "follow the money" insinuating i was a gigolo b/c I was with my aunt who is about 20 years older. avoid this place at all costs , go to lalos in mt shasta
Poor service. Great salsa, but it stops there. Avoid this place.
A most excellent experience. Very good Mexican food. We are from an area of California that is brimming with fine Mexican restaurants (the family owned type, not the franchises). The food here rivals some of the best. The only difference is that the food here is a little less spicy, which seems expected given the fact that the Hispanic population here is likely much lower than in my home town, and tourists might be less inclined to partake in very spicy food. Margaritas are great, though spend some time studying the formidable list of available flavors. The chips are thin and warm; no chewing like your eating rocks here. The owner is delightful and energetic which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was clean. Good value for a good (huge) meal. Highly recommended
