About:While a rare and precious commodity in almost any town, the 24-hour restaurant is almost unheard of in Hawai'i. Thank goodness then for Ken's HOP, which not only serves all night long, but is reputed to serve the very best breakfasts on the Island of Hawai'i. It has won a half-dozen people's choice awards in the past few years for service, food quality and all-around excellence. Everything from the famous pancakes to spaghetti to Kalua pig is on the extensive menu. All-you-can-eat specials are featured on Wednesday and Sunday.

    simply this way pancake house is an icon.It is a location where legendary people came to dine.The food is off the hook and filled with ALOHA.In my opinion its the best restaurant in Hilo.I look forward to Ponds Diner and eating there much ALOHA to the owner and the staff

    Best fries I've ever had in my life. I'm still having crazings from visiting last year and plan on going back to the big island soon to get my fill.
