I wasnt impressed: I love shrimp and I was expecting a lot of good shrimp recipes for a great price. They had a few recipes. We ended up trying lemon pepper shrimp on rice or something like that. I thought it was ok but my baby was not impressed. The drinks were good but not strong.

Such a Wonderful Place: Bubba Gump Shrimp Company was the first restaurant my family and I ate at when we arrived in Maui. It was tons of fun for all of us, and the food was wonderful. I would definatly send all my friends and family to eat there. Oh, and if your over 21, the drinks are also wonderful and worth every penny you pay for them. Have fune and enjoy the food

Dying For MORE!!!: The place is rather small but the location and the service on top of the GREAT RIBS are worth putting up with the waiting list. It sits right on the ocean and you can look out and actually SEE Molikini [pronounced Mo-la-key-knee] the huge Hawaiian volcano crater. Stunning from any angle! The place has a casual atmosphere and has every window open to the sea [so if you can't eat hot meals without air condition during 90 degree weather, Bubba's is NOT the place to be] They serve these GREAT colorful drinks and have them available in every size and alcohol content [I don't drink alcohol so they gladly made me an NON-alcoholic drink] I had two Mango Tango's, a bright yellow/gold drink that tasted out of this world, and ICE COLD too! I asked our server who told us [they're talkative that way] he was a surfer from California and came to visit Maui and stayed [Lucky Bum! LOL] what dish he recommended...without hesitation he said "The RIBS! They've been voted BEST On The Island 7 years in a row!! And have been named in several magazines that do travels, like Conde Nest as "THE" place for GREAT RIBS! I then said "Are you sure?" [Duh..LOL] and he quickly smiled and said, "IF you don't like them I will gladly give you something else to eat...FREE!" Wellll I wasn't about to pass THAT offer up, so the RIBS it was. Man! OH MAN! The RIBS are DEFINITELY THE DISH TO GET AT BUBBA GUMP'S!!! The meal arrived on this HUGE [they're NOT stingy with their portions!] platter, steaming and smelling like HEAVEN! Everyone around simultaneously went; "MMMMmmm", and my husband quickly picked one off my plate, smiling [husbands are like that you know..LOL], I scowled at him, and said "Who wants half of this I won't be able to eat it all?", everyone said NO since their plates arrived heaping too with great foods. I made a sad face and my friend feeling sorry for me offered to take "a couple"., so I dished him a WHOLE HALF of the ribs. MAN! Did I come to REGRET THAT afterwards! The ribs were so sweet,soft,tender[falling off the bone TENDER!], and the sauce smooth. I couldn't get enough, and now back on the mainland, I'm dying for some more Bubba Gump's B-B-Q RIBS!!! Even now as I write this my lips tingle with the memory of the sweet sauce and tender meat Mmmmm! SWEET! So if you ever head to Lahaina, on the Island of MAUI...head to BUBBA GUMP'S!! And make sure to ask for the RIBS....and DON'T SHARE or you'll be sorry, like I was.
