excellent japanese food! we love obaachan. we loved it so much we went there twice on our vacation.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTheir bento is the best!: The kids were sleeping in the car, so we got take-out from Teshima's. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and bento. The chicken teriyaki was a very generous portion, the sauce was delicious, the chicken tender and juicy. It came with rice and mixed vegetables. The bento had 2 rice balls (onigiri), some beef teriyaki, fried fish, and spam. All delicious! I'm Japanese-American and am very picky about Japanese food. This was wonderful, and very reasonably priced. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to go back again during our trip, but I will definitely go there multiple times next opportunity we have to be on the Big Island! Bring cash, they don't take credit cards.
