This restaurant was so good I went back two days later! Upon first look, it may not look like much, but the food makes everything (including a possible wait for a table) worth the wait! I had the Mahi-mahi pita with garlic rice the first time and the Mahi-mahi bento the second time, and both were fantastic! I'm not much of a fish eater, but these dishes were both prepared with very fresh, flavorful ingredients. And, the garlic rice and salad that accompanied them were fantastic all at under $12! A must in Hilo!
This is my very favorite place to eat in Hilo. The food is made from healthy ingredients. It tastes clean, good-for-you, and flavorful. The salads are phenomenal. The prices are reasonable. If you have to wait outside until there's a table, it's worth it. I especially love the vegetarian pita; but everything I've tried there has been awesome.
