The first time we ate at Kahuna Kabobs we had the BEST Surprise of our trip! Now it is just a ritual that is repeated more than once on each trip!!

We just happened upon it in the little marketplace where it's located. You can see it from Front St. in the heart of Lahaina, the marketplace is just caddycorner to Cheeseburger in Paradise ( Don't waste your time or money there!). The marketplace has a Fantastic view of the ocean.

Everything we have had there has been Excellent! Of course their kabobs are good, it's their name. Going off of the easy pick is where we started finding their real treasures! Their Seared Ahi plate is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Seared Ahi over Molokai sweet potatos with grilled aparagus. This plate on Front street is at least $40. The Kahuna charged around $15 and it was their most expensive plate. The ceasar salad with a fish kabob, their chili with the luau style pork and mango salsa, and even their wrap with falafel in it was outstanding (I don't normally order vegitarian dishes as an entree-Very Glad I did!).

They also solved our search for Authentic Hawaiian Shave ice. We kept finding snow cones. SO not the same! Found out the true way to have shave ice is with vanilla ice cream which they have. Their ice is shaved Perfectly!

THERE IS NO BETTER VALUE FOR YOUR DOLLAR ON MAUI THAN KAHUNA KABOBS!!!
