About:Do not bother to worry about reservations; this popular upcountry eatery does not take them. It packs in the crowds as they come. If you have a large party, be prepared to wait during busy times. The portions here are enormous. At breakfast, a single pancake is enough to satisfy a normal appetite. All kinds of salads and fish sandwiches are served in addition to standard burger-n-fries fare. The restaurant was named after owner Jim Fuller's dog, who was further immortalized by the restaurant logo. It is spacious and busy with a diverse clientele.

    CHARLEY'S HAS A WONDERFUL NEW FEEL SINCE ITS REMODLE,ALTHOUGH THE MEMORABILIA IS STILL BEING FIXED.THE FOOD HAS ONLY GOT BETTER!WITH THEIR WONDERFULL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH THEY STEPPED DINNER UP TO A 5 STAR RATING IN MY BOOK.THERE CHEF AT NIGHT BROUGHT HER DOWN HOME TEXAS STYLE COOKING TO THE TABLE (THATS FOR SURE) SHE SMOKES BABY BACK RIBS,BEEF BRISQUET,AND TURKEY DAILY!
    YOU MUST TRY HER BARBEQUE SAUCE AND I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE IN LOVE.AND TO ADD NOT ONLY GOOD FOOD,GREAT ATMOSPHERE,KID FRIENDLY,AND GREAT LIVE MUSIC........................

    This place has a great breakfast. I went here one time for more like a "brunch"
    One of us got the pancakes I think and one the omelet. The portions were huge. It was presented very nicely. It was very nice and a good 'home style' meal.

    not a bad place to see live music, but lacks the charm it used to have when it was a shrine to Willie Nelson. Since the fire it has an empty feeling, like no one really cares. Also, notoriously
    bad management, drunken security guards who wont hesitate to beat you down, and generally unhappy staff dont add to the fun.
