Ning's Thai Cuisine

This place was an ubelievable experience for the small town. We stayed at a house in Hilo of colleagues of mine, and they insisted we drive to Pahoa for this great cuisine. We pulled up and I was a little unsure...but the whole atmosphere was just so....real, and like a previous person said--real. The food was so fresh, full of flavor, and just fantastic! It rained and the downpour was happening right outiside our open window where we were sitting...truly a great experience. Good food! Can't wait to go back this year.

Ning's it one of those experiences that you have once and you just keep going
back. You go there and you have been there before. The food is so good that I would say it has soul and make sure that you have the green tea ice-cream. Ning's is my first stop when I make it back to the island. It is so good that I am moving to the Big Island, so I can eat well and forget about the rat race that we live in.

I have never been to a Thai restaurant before, so I cannot relate, but I still know about food, fresh food, and good quality. My husband and I were very impressed by the taste and quality of the food, the service, the cleanliness, pretty much everything. The only problem was that this restaurant has an open structure, and we were busy trying to keep the flies away from our food. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
