| About: | When a burger and a milkshake is preferable to fusion cuisine and cocktails, stop by this down-home deli. Billed as the place "where the locals eat," it's a friendly, no-frills diner in Volcano Village. Menu items include stir-fries, burgers, sweet-bread french toast and super-gooey chocolate cake. The macadamia nut cookies are the toast of the town. This place offers live entertainment on weekend nights and Internet access all the time. |

This place (which I would rate only very loosely as a restaurant) sports badly cooked food, slow and surly service should be a must miss in everybody's book. I am a local and have given them several chances to prove themselves. I have been disappointed every time without fail. I can only imagine how a bad experience there would color someones vacation. However if you enjoy charred burgers, overcooked fish, wilted lettuce that was left under the heat lamp, cold food that is supposed to be hot, seeing the head cook scratch his head and the waitress wipe her nose on her hand (and both going straight back to work) - hey this is your place -- enjoy! I have eaten better food from street vendors....
