we purchased an 05 x5 from tina sterling; everything worked out no sweat! we are going back to buy another bmw and upgrade our x5 in a few years.
Did not buy a car.: We went looking for an X5 or X3. Left never returning again. The dealer said everything wrong and was obviously looking for a sale, not really listening to what we wanted. He tried to sell us a Jeep Grand Cherokee when there wasn't anything on the lot for us, instead of getting our number down once something does come in. They also said we would be lucky if we got 4 thousand for our trade in...we sold our car for 7 thousand a month later. Left with a very, very sour taste in my mouth with that dealer and will not buy a BMW until I get back to the mainland.
Disappointed In Service Department: I've taken my car to the dealership 3 times for the same problem and the service department can't seem to fix the problem with the trunk. To make matters worse, the last time I took the car in I ask them to keep it until it was properly fixed (paying out of my own pocket for a rental car because they didn't even provide an loaner for an issue they couldn't fix). They gave me my car back after a week telling me it was fixed..not to be I'm still having the same issues. When I called my service representative his response was "what do you want me to tell my foreman to do? he said it was fixed" That's a big disappointment because I thought BMW stood for reliability and safety. It worries me to even take my car in for regular scheduled maintenance.
