| About: | Accommodations at the 359-room Pagoda Hotel can be found in two separate wings: the 12-story main Pagoda Hotel Tower with 197 rooms adjacent to the Pagoda Floating Restaurant and koi ponds, and the 5-story Pagoda Terrace with 162 rooms in total. The Terrace, located across the street from the Pagoda Floating Restaurant and tower, has its own sundeck, pool and koi fishpond. Hotel Tower - Moderate Offering up to two guests a winning combination of comfort and value, moderate rooms feature two double beds or one queen-size bed, refrigerator, coffee maker and standard in-room amenities. Hotel Tower - Deluxe Located on the highest two floors of the Pagoda Tower, deluxe rooms have either two double beds or one queen-size bed, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and standard in-room amenities. Limited availability, non-smoking only. Terrace - Studio w/ Kitchenette Studios feature kitchenettes with a junior-sized refrigerator, two-burner stove, microwave, flatware, dishes and can accommodate up to three persons with either two twin beds or one queen bed. Terrace - 1 Bedroom w/ Kitchenette Units offer either four twin beds or two twin beds and a queen bed. Up to four persons can be accommodated comfortably. User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPleasant Experience: Pagoda is located in away from Waikiki but yet convenient for shopping at the Ala Moana & Ward Center, and close to major restaurants. Being away from Waikiki by a few minutes by car, its quiet and relaxing.
Rooms were clean and well kept up, service was good, having a kitchette in the room was a good addition as we can purchase the local fare and eat it in our room. Room rates were reasonable as compared to other hotels in the area.
The restaurant has a good Sunday brunch with fair amount of variety, we noticed the restaurant was very popular with the locals and a gathering place for families and friends. Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall a good experience will stay there again when we visit Honolulu.
