another favorite of mine! the buffet is awesome. +++
We went on a Monday which was King Crab leg night.
On the minus side, the prime rib is NOT a prime rib, it's only a rib roast so it's not as tender. Sushi is not very fresh (don't let the enhanced color fool you.)
On the plus side, the clam chowder and the pasta station is very good. Good Pina Coladas.
Overall service was very courteous.
Overall, I think it's priced ok but it's overhyped. I recommend going to a restaurant by the beachfront instead.
A cool way to eat dinner!: This wonderful restaurant sits on the ground floor of the Pacific Beach Hotel where we stayed for a week, and let me tell you it's wonderful, a tad expensive but we ate there one time and they have an all you can eat WONDERFUL and delicous buffet for about 25 dollars u get anything from simple salad, to fresh catch shrimp, Lobster, and chefs ready to cook up scallops the way you want them! I remember I had them cook mine in garlic butter and YUM!!!!! I had a wonderful strawberry side and then I didnt even get to the best part! In the restaurant right there by where you eat, there is a 3-story oceanarium where there are large large fish and a few dolphins swimming around and we got there at the time they were feeding and scuba divers were down in there feeding the fish. Just imagine sitting there eating and u look next to you and see these huge fish staring at u, lol I loved it, and also the best lemondade! Now mind u, we didnt eat there but one time cuz of the price but we just thought we could splurge and it was so well worth it! If u are ever in Hawaii, it would be well worth your time to visit the oceanarium restaurant in the pacific beach hotel, right across the street from waikiki beach! :)
