A place that never fails to welcome with a smile: My family has been celebrating our special events, holidays, and moments of importance at the Kahala Hilton/Kahala Mandarin for the last forty some odd years. We have always felt warm, welcome, and secure in knowing that we would leave Hoku's with a sense of satisfaction and contentment.

A most memorable experience: From the moment we arrived at the Kahala Mandarin, the service was impecable. The interior of Hoku's, the restaurant overlooking the Pacific (just east of Diamondhead) is elegant and understated.

The brunch offerings are visually appealing and gastromically exceptional. Virtually everything is offered as an appetizer, from exotic salads, freshly prepared sushi, peking duck, fresh shellfish, etc.

The entrees are equally delightful. The King Crab omlette was stupendous as was the Lamb Shank.

Reserve space for the desserts. They are exquisite. Presentation is important here, but the key is the quality of everything prepared.
