   MoreBudo Dojo is a school of traditional Japanese martial arts, teaching Aikido and self-defense in the Portland metropolitan area for over 10 years. Affiliated with Aikido Schools of Ueshiba (ASU) under Shihan Mitsugi Saotome Sensei, Budo Dojo is a well-rounded and comprehensive training center. Aikido is a non-competitive but powerful martial art that teaches us to unlock our potential, improving our health, confidence, and spirit. Training includes throws, locks, and pinning techniques as well as traditional weapons including wooden sword and staff. Aside our adult programs, we also have Aikido for children ages 7-12. Students also learn the importance of good posture, balance, and focus. Along with body development, our kids also learn the value of respect and discipline, as these values are among the more crucial areas of learning Aikido. From beginners to seasoned fighters, our highly knowledgeable instructors and staff will work with you, helping develop your skill while meeting your needs along the way.
