    I have had good experience with East Hills. They put my dog to sleep and were very caring and talked me through the experience. I also received a card later from the clinic.

    They put my dog to sleep and it was a HORRID experience. I found out from many others, including a friend of mine that is a vet, that most vets take the pet OUT of the room, or have the owner leave the room, and insert the IV and then bring the pet back in before they put them down by putting the shot into the pre-inserted IV. This did not happen for me and my dog was FREAKING OUT, scared, bulging eyes and I was "lucky" enough to witness the whole thing. I ran out of the vet SOBBING b/c it was such a horrid experience, and this is what I flash to EVERY SINGLE TIME I think of my little dog.
    I feel the whole situation was handled horribly.

    Then fast forward four months, I get a card in the mail saying that my dog is due to have his teeth cleaned. The same dog they put down for me.
    The lady that helped me just made excuses that the computer prints out the cards automatically, even for inactive patients.
    In my opinion that is just GROSS customer service. Come on GO ABOVE AND BEYOND A BIT to make sure your grieving customers dont get some reminder card in the mail.
    I will NEVER return to this vet again, even if I get another dog. I dont care that I literally live FIVE MINUTES from this place.

    If you need a great vet then this is your place. Dr. McNabb is the most caring, concerned, knowledgeable vet I have found and the staff is wonderful. The charges are reasonable and he has always been available when my dogs were in need.
