User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFantastic Breakfasts and Lunches: Bettes is only open for Breakfast and Lunch, but it is really worth the stop. On Oak St. (I believe the "main drag" of Hood River) it cannot be missed. We found Bettes by chance on the day we arrived in Hood River and had great smoked salmon and crab lunches. We went back the next morning and had outstanding omelets at very reasonable prices. Needless to say, we went back again the next morning for more of the same. Do not pass up the fresh, homemade pies, although one slice is a meal in itself. The cinnimon rolls looked and smelled fantastic, but we had no room to try them. Next time, definitely!!!!! Bettes is a hidden jewel in the Gorge area and we will certaintly visit Bettes again the next time we visit the Hood River area.
