User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsColumbia Gorge Hotel: What a gorgeous place for my birthday weekend! I had eaten dinner here many years ago, but had forgotten how stepping through their doors is like stepping back in time to a romance filled era. From the roses in the room, mints on your beautiful linen pillowcases, robust Victorian decor that adorns, chocolate strawberries, champagne and caviar social and so much more, you cant help but feel like you are in a romantic time that was many years ago. This is a hotel that is filled with memories and you can so easily make your own here as well. From feeding the ducks buttermilk biscuits in the morning, drinking Brandy Alexander's late at night and requesting your favorite tunes, Fly Me To The Moon, from their onsite piano player to taking late night strolls on their lusciously landscaped grounds wrapped in a soft blanket as their 208 foot waterfall guides you in the dark. This place is wonderful! So much to see and do and you retire in a Victorian 4-post canopy bed. What more could you ask for??? Enjoy it with someone special - its pure romance! 5 Star!!!!
