Nice place, friendly people.Glad we stopped in when we moved to Estacada.
What a great place. You name it and they have it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of interaction with animals and dogs are always welcome. Beautiful horses on site and the staff can help you with all inquiries!
Keep up the great work and we hope the new owners (2006) "Lee & Shelley Coulstring have great success. May the force be with you!!!!
Worth the trip!: I went with a group of chicken fanciers to visit Eagle Creek Feed, and had a wonderful time.
I'm not an expert on livestock feed, but the feed area seemed clean, well organized and well stocked. The store area itself isn't terribly big, but seemed well stocked with the basics. I noticed bulk bins for a variety of bird and small animal feeds, which seems like it would be handy. I found a feeder in a size I haven't seen elsewhere, which is just right for inside my tiny henhouse, as well as a part for a waterer I needed to replace.
The biggest delight was all the animals! This is the first feed store I've visited that had its own breeding fowl. It was great to wander along the line of coops, seeing the chickens of various ages and varieties. There were also ducks, goats, and a type of bird I mistook for a finch, but which turned out to be a small game bird...I can't remember the type, but they were adorable little things. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were some very interesting displays of antique farm equipment, including an old incubator, small grain mill, an ancient chicken feeder, etc.
For a city "farmer", this was a piece of country Heaven. The overall experience was exceptional, and I will look forward to visiting any time I get out that way...especially when I'm ready for my next batch of chicks!
