Elizares Obedience Training

I have been going to classes with Elizares from beginning to advanced for the last year. The training is excellent! Lesa offers private, group and drop off classes which work great if you need extra help or have a busy schedule. I have a young dog who has recently earned his Rally Novice title and could not have done it without Lesa's training!

The training is excellent! My dog was having behavior problems and as a first time dog owner was not having any luck in resolving the big issues. One training class at Elizares and the results were immediate. I am now enjoying my pet and plan on continuing classes they offer. We never enjoyed taking her for walks and now that is a big highlight of my day. Very professional and you can really see the love and experience right away.

My husband and I have trained ten dogs over a 20 year span at Elizares Kennels. Before coming to Oregon, we trained dogs in Nebraska and Colorado. The training provided at Elizares is the most professionally presented instruction we have ever received. We currently have one dog in beginner's class and two in advanced work.

Lesa Elizares is a second generation dog trainer. Her parents Dave and Donna Elizares are well-known figures in the world of training and showing dogs, locally and nationally. Elizares Kennels has been in the same location for many years.

Lesa's life-long love of dog obedience is clearly apparent in every class she teaches, from basic beginner's class through advanced work. If you train your dogs with Lesa, you will have the perfect companion and the best pet you could ever imagine!

Lesa supports those clients that want to show their dogs in the obedience ring, or in conformation, but she also provides the kind of knowledge that will allow any dog to be an integral part of the family! I wish every dog and owner could have the benefit of training at Elizares Kennels!

Another benefit of training at Elizares is that you get to meet a lot of nice people who are serious about training their dogs...and of course, you get to know a lot of very good dogs, too!

Lesa's classes are hard work, but she doesn't rely on bribing dogs with treats. She teaches the time-tested leash work that top dog trainers have always relied on. If you are planning to train your dog, you might as well go to the best instructor you can find. In Portland, that would be Lesa Elizares.

We have also used the kenneling services offered at Elizares. On one occasion we had to leave a dog that was recovering from knee surgery, and Lesa did a lot of extra work with him to be sure that his recovery progressed on pace. Leaving your dog at Elizares is almost like leaving them in the home of a friend, or with your family. The only difference is that your dog will be happier and safer, with Lesa, and it will also come home more well-behaved than when you left! It's nice for us to be able to travel without worrying about the dogs! Our dogs always come home relaxed and happy after staying with Lesa at Elizares Kennels.
