    Rented boat, motor, and rings were great. But when we brought back our catch of crabs for the staff to cook, they swapped out two of the larger crabs I'd ever seen for their own average size crabs, and without asking. This is completely unacceptable to me, thus only one star.

    My summers as a kid were all spent at the Jetty Fishery, the Coast Guard had a couple of boats there. People from Portland, Burns...we all met there each summer, our folks moored their boats at the Fishery.There is a memorial on the rocks from a old guy named Archie, who would venture out over the bar no matter the size of the waves, he would be standing up as he went over the waves in a small wooden boat, with head cocked to one side..he ended his life where he loved life..seems almost fitting. Ed and Pauline Lyster were the owners, they are both gone now. They moved on down to barview after the Jetty..That place holds my dearest memories of childhood..Good luck to all of you that can experience it now with your families..It was the best ever!!!This was in the late 60 and all through the 70's

    I love it every time I go: I love this spot and you will to if you love crabbing and fishing. The crabbing there has been good this year and should be nice and steady throughout the season. I caught four keepers off the dock in under two hours on Oct 9th and if you pay attention to dots guide it looks like it will be getting really good over the next two weeks. If you like crab or love it like me, then make your way out to rockaway beach Oregon for some of the big wons.
