User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNewcomers looking at the reviews will undoubtedly be confused by the outpouring of great reviews, then some not so great reviews. The reason for this is Jake's sold out to the McCormick and Schmick's people and that is why everything has gone downhill. My husband and I used to regularly go to Jake's and were bowled away by the taste of the food and the amount. Now all you get are smaller portions for more money and the taste leaves a lot to be desired. If you are going to spend that kind of money, get a great meal by going to Higgins. M+S, if we wanted another one of your restaurants, your original rest. would be expanding under it's own name, not by hiding behind an old Portland favorites reputation, that sadly, will obviously never be the same with you in the picture.

Had dinner at Jake's 08-08-09. The service was great, but the food was less than impressive. I had King Salmon ($35) that wasn't as good as Safeway Salmon I buy in AZ.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsExcellent Boullibase. I was a bit displeased in some of the oysters. Some were a overly soft and should not have been served.
The server, WENDY ;) was excellent. Wendy, did you call my nephew?... :)
However, your coffee is some of the worst I have ever had in a great restaurant.
