Dundee's Bar & Grill

One star for the terrible service. My wife, my father in law and I went to Dundee's to eat after he completed the Hood to Coast Relay this past weekend. At first things were fine, we found some seats at the bar and ordered some drinks and appetizers-it appeared to be a fun place with lots of interesting things on the wall.
45 minuntes later we had no food and just a single comment from the owner about how busy it was to explain the delay-and even that was ok to that point. However, when my wife politely asked the 30-something bartender if we could at least get the cup of chili my hungry father in law ordered (something that really shouldn't be hard to do) he made a big scene of it to the point where he cussed at her in front of everyone within earshot, accusing her of thinking herself more important than everyone else there. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back there, and will be telling everyone we know about the horrible experience we had here...and we live in the area so it really is thier loss.
To the owner: take a look at your staff, and teach them what customer service is all about.

A disgusted customer.

On the evening of 7/17/09, my husband and I payed to have several songs play on the digital jukebox. We chose a combination of AC/DC and Spanish music which we both love. However, the manager of Dundee, turned down the volume of the Spanish music. When we complained about it, we were told that "it was getting too loud." This reason was given over a few AC/DC music was played without volume adjustment. My husband, who is not a minority, was astounded of the blatant discrimination.

My family went to seaside for vacation. While walking strip we saw this establishment, decided to go there for dinner. When my family and I arrived we noticed on the sign above the door that said they serve minors till 9 pm, since it was 15 mins to 8pm we entered. We walked in to a rude waitress that stated, "We are no longer serving minors!" I told her it wasn't even 8 yet. She said, "If you think you can finish and be gone by 9!" (with attitude!) So my family and I left. There was nothing welcoming to that rude waitress. How dare this female, because she doesn't deserve a better decription in fact I would love to call her other names, decriminate against my family because I have a infant. I am very understanding to time lines and we would have never even enter the establishment if we didn't have enought time. I also have worked in customer service for over 12 years and understand you never turn away a customer without a good reason and great appologys. It only takes one bad experience with a customer that will be repeated and it will multiple. Guarantee I WILL TELL EVERYONE NEVER GO THERE!
