Norma's Diner was recommeded by the hotel staff we stayed in and had a wonderful experience. It took a while for us to be seated due to the high volume of clientele but once inside the food and service was outstanding. This restaurant had a very comfortable, relaxed family feel to it . Their Clam Chowder, Tiger Prawns, Calamari, etc. was excellent, and quantity was perfect for the price, more than I expected compared to other seafood restaurants. Can't wait to go back there again, came back home and could not stop talking about my experience at this restaurant. Would recommend to everyone going to Seaside.
horrible horrible service
our order was lost and they said it would be remade but for half off only. was not even busy
was never checked on by our waitress for the full HOUR we were waiting, had to get up and say something myself.
DO NOT eat there
Read the reviews and went there for dinner from Cannon Beach. Folks, if you're looking for good Clams Linguine, please save yourself the time and trouble and don't go there. Their Clam Linguine was made (probably) hours ago and must have been sitting together for the duration, you never mix your sauces with your pasta until just before serving it as the starch leaves the pasta for the sauce while the liquids in the sauce migrate into the pasta resulting in a gooey starchy mess that's quite similar to the canned variety, if you like the canned variety then by all means go for it. We also tried their famous Clam Chowder while it was acceptable (unlike the pasta) it was not anywhere near the best, at best I can euphemistically say it was one of the better ones. The Pan Fried Razor Clams were rubbery (overcooked) and over breaded. In all, a terrible let down and a huge disappointment after reading the other glowing reviews.
