This place has THE BEST sesame chicken that I have ever had. It is made with a very thick, very sweet sauce that is to die for (it is almost like eating candy.)My husband and I have been going there for a few years and it's always been an excellent experience. We often do take out and it's usually ready within a few minutes of calling. They are always very friendly and professional (their english is very limited.) There is another August Moon in Portland,at one time they were related but something happened and they don't like to be known as being related anymore. The menu is similar at the other one which is on 23rd, but the food is better at the one on Clay.

Go and try the Sesame Chicken!!

just OK: It's hard to find good Chinese food in Portland. OK, it's almost impossible. Certainly no San Francisco or Vancouver. This place doesn't really raise the bar of Chinese cuisine in Portland, but it's open all the time, it's close to where I live, service is good, and it's cheap.

Best Cashew Chicken in Town: My husband will drive for an hour to get the cashew chicken from this restaurant. It's all chicken and all cashews. No vegetables. And they have the best flaming pot appetizer. Everything on it is tasty and the portions are ample.
