Tara Thai is my wife's and my favotite Thai restuarant in the whole area. The food seved is simply out of this world, and to sit outside under a HUGE White Oak tree on a nice summer, spring ot fall day is wonderful. You simply cannot go wrong with all the varieties of foods served and the wonderful atmosphere.
Tasty Thai: Nice comfortable atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, a very decent menu with good variety, and some excellent peanut sauce. What more could you want in a restaurant. We've been there for both lunch and dinner and haven't once been disappointed. In fact, it's one of the places we take people who are visiting the city. The restaurant itself is in an older house on 23rd and has both indoor and outdoor seating. If you're into fine dining, Tara Thai probably isn't for you, but if you want a good meal in a place where cargo shorts and sandals can be found right alongside suits and dresses, this just might be a place to check out. If so, try the Tara's Combo appetizer to start, follow it up with some Pra Ram or Pad Kee Mao, and wash it down with a nice Thai iced tea. Tasty.
