About:Traditional Celtic fare can be found at this family-run County Cork Public House. The original location was on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard , where the BridgePort Ale House now resides. Church pews and Celtic murals add to the pub's charm. Seats are often hard to come by, but the entertainment is worth the wait. A hearty Irish menu will help you put back a few stouts. The Beer Battered Halibut and Chips make for a great meal. Need a little protein boost? Have a Scotch Eggsausage wrapped around a hard-cooked egg. Live music is offered nightly.

    In response to "No more Guinness": Sorry to say, but Guinness made in America is not the same that is made in Ireland. They are not allowed to import their beer or whiskey here. So if the pub is telling you that the stout is from Ireland they are misleading you. If they can get it from Ireland than they can get the real Guinness from Ireland also...which they can not. I have many friends from Ireland and they will tell you that the Guinness here is not the same as the real Guinness in Ireland.
    So I hope you can find a Pub that will not tell you something that is not totally true. I was hoping to take me friend to one of the Portland Pubs to watch the Rugby game against England there this month, so I am glad I read this review.
