| About: | Wildwood Restaurant is located in Portland's beautiful Northwest neighborhood, near Forest Park's 17-mile long Wildwood Trail. Founded in 1994 by Executive Chef Cory Schreiber, Portland native and James Beard Award winner, Wildwood Restaurant celebrates a return to the land Schreiber knew as a child. Our seasonal menus showcase the wealth of premium ingredients found only miles from the restaurant in the lush Willamette Valley, coastal mountain ranges and diversified farmlands of Oregon and Washington. Daily offerings include a sumptuous diversity of meats, seafood, pastas, vegetables, salads, pizzas from the clay oven, and luscious desserts. Our regional wine list constantly evolves to showcase the best local producers. The Pacific Northwest theme continues in the slate floors and wood-lined ceiling, giving Wildwood's dining room a casual, contemporary feel. Seating options include intimate booths, chef's counter, bar, patio and two private dining rooms. |

I love love loveeeee Wildwood restaurant and bar! It's the best! Their food is amazing. If I could, I would live there and eat there every single day of my life! It's amazing!!! Great service, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, and it's absolutely mind blowing awesome! I loved it soooooooo much! Everyone in the world needs to experience this beautiful restaurant!
Sanitary delights await you: This seemed like a nice place to wind up after a concert and why nit pick about the decor when the waitperson is so friendly?
The desserts looked better than they tasted but that is so often the case in the US.
Oh, Fallen Tarnished Star: The previous reviewer mentioned that she "nestled into their booth..." Huh? These wooden pizza parlor bench seats are completely off-brand for such a high flying player as Wildwood. I found the lack of table cloth, garish art, mediocre woodworking on the walls terribly disappointing. On cold days, the whole of the place is chilly so bring a sweater. The food, well, I enjoyed the Chef's work at Cyprus Club in San Francisco --now THAT was a build out. Stunning interiors. Wildwood is the exact opposite. Think Shakey's Pizza without the King Arthur theme. Our meal consisted of their fish special. It was dry and unremarkable. The service was knowledgable but I found his piercings and forearm tattoos unfitting for someone presenting himself as a sophisticated conisseur of fine cuisine. Not mutually exclusive you say? Perhaps, however you haven't met this waiter. Artifice? Yes, I like showmanship. I won't lie. Especially when you are paying their prices. Paring it down to "just the food" means that meal better take center stage. Unfortunately, the chefs phone their's in. For a meal that is REALLY about the food, try Higgins or Hurleys. Their you find the chefs are not just cashing in on their cookbook sales receipts. I would skip Wildwood unless your boss is paying.

You have to be kidding me about your review! This restaurant is amazing! I love every single thing about this place. Your just probably faking your review. It's an amazing restaurant and I recommend to anyone who is visiting Portland, OR. It's awesome! Even better if you sit outside on a sunny day, but the inside is wonderful as well.
