One thousand patrons can fit into the ballroom and it can be reserved for private events as well. Three onsite barsincluding a popular nightclub, Ringlers will satiate your hunger and thirst. It is worth a visit just to behold the local landmark's ornate chandeliers, picturesque windows and 7,500-square-foot dance floor that floats on ball-bearings.

    Lola's Room Rocks -: On the second floor of Portland's Crystal Ballroom, get your jones on for industrial, goth, and dark wave on Sunday nights with "Hive". Drinks are a little spendy, and the bar is always crowded, but there's usually room on the dance floor to be yourself... Don't forget your trenchcoat and black eyeliner.

    The Crystal Ballroom (think Fillmore in Portland): The Crystal Ballroom is the cream of the crop in Portland for seeing live music in a tradional setting. The floor is a springy ballroom floor and it has a wonderfull balcony in case it gets too thick.

    If the name Fillmore or Warfield means anything to you, you need to get tickets to something at the Crystal Ballroom.

    The last detail is that this classic venue is owned by McMenamins now and you can get all your standard tasty McMenamins beers and foods there.
