Good food and huge portions. It is family style seating so expect to be sitting on the same table as total strangers, some of them not too pleasant, but the food is quite good, so you will enjoy that.
My party arrived 2 minutes before closing. The cooked was yelling at the server who sat us. Using profanity. Another server came by and suggested we tip the cook before we got our meal. My business partner ordered a shirley temple. He got it 20 minutes later. He told her he didn't want it. She dumped it on the floor....20 minutes later, she slipped on it and fell on the ground spilling our leftover food and drink....This place I will never go back to and will tell all who ask me about it to not go. DO NOT GO HERE! If you appreciate great service and food, do not ever go here ever in your life.
hmmm, foil shaped leftovers! wow!!!! i'm bedazzled! so frenchy! that makes the food so good!! yeah, this place is open late, but pasta dishes are filler for fools who don't know anything about real food. it tasted like zatarans from the box to me. portland has GREAT food, but nothing from the eastern u.s...ie. cajun, jamaican, southern....all fakes here. also had to wait 1hr to get into this place! it's all trendy hype, don't bother.

Wait... You (as a former server) had the nerve to show up at a restaurant 2 minutes before closing?!? You really have no right to complain about the service you received.
And you deserved the spit in your food, too.
Yeah, how dare someone show up during work hours? For that you surely deserve your food to be spit in. Oh and I'm sure despite the shitty service anything less than 20% is an insult, right? Typical entitled server attitudes.
