Fabulous food! Never had a bad meal there. Often go after HS games at Riverdale. Even if you come in late they serve you with a smile. Sean always knows what each of us likes to eat!

great reliable restaurant - Terwilliger: We've been coming to Chez Jose Terwilliger for years...great reliable restaurant with healthy portion sizes, but not super heavy - food is fresh and tasty. Due to the restaurants' popularity with families and couples out for a quick bite, there is sometimes a short wait (because Market of Choice is next door, we frequently use the 10 - 15 minute wait time to grab a few grocery items...or, we get around this by doing take-out instead. ) The food is fresh, simply prepared, and the chips and salsa abundant and tasty; they're great on water refills. Prices are reasonable, service consistently friendly. Issues: parking is a bit dramatic due to tight spaces and shared locale with market, and sometimes young families in this carefree but upscale restaurant are often not thoughtful about the mess they leave behind with chips - which means wait time is lengthened as crews have extensive clean up to do (which the staff does well, but it's needlessly callous of people to expect servers to care for their children's excessive messes....not just at this restaurant - how hard is it to tidy up after yourself by picking up napkins, etc?) Very friendly neighborhood restaurant with consistently good in-house service and reliable take out. Specials change often and are good; local produce and ingredients used. We eat here at least 2x a month and have for last 15 years or so....devestated when they were closed for rennovations!!
