Riverview Mongolian Grill

I went there after all the reviews. To be honest. I think this is an ok mongolian grill buffet.
For the price of $12.95. I think that the grilling is alright. But, the selections r pretty poor for that price. Only one type of noodle. I went there on Sunday evening. The freshness is ok... I would say not my typical fresh. especially for the mini shrimps, been there (thawed for some period of time). The pork looks.. kinda old, slightly gray, not bright fresh orange.
But the people eating there seems to like it a lot. A guy in the line, even told me convincingly that the food is very great & I just complied and laugh with him making some happy time conv. And I could see there are many locals and some seems to be repeating customers, based on the friendliness of the waiters.
Maybe it is just Corvallis. I think there are no competition there. And ppl just dont know there exist grills that serve better meals for that price.

Ate there tonight and it was excellent. Great selection of ingrediants and an awesome selection of sauces. They also have some very hot sauces that i haven't seen at all Mongolian Grills before (very good). And all you can eat for about $11 is a great deal!

Far and away the best eatery of it's type in the greater northwest area. Chang's is a far cry from the Riverview! I have tried mongolian type grills in many different places and none hold a candle to this chain which has locations in Albany, Corvallis and Klamath Falls OR. Very few places that charge these prices actually give you value for money, but The Riverview does indeed. Top notch ingredients and sauces make all the difference. A flat grill works so much better than the sloped grills of Changs, where you see your watered down sauces run off the grill before imparting their timid taste to the less than stellar ingredients. Hazzah to Riverview Mongolian Grill! Long may you prosper.
