The food is very good, I will give them that. However, the place is noisy, cramped, service is slow and there is frequently a long, long line to get in. The past five times I've tried to eat there I had to decide whether to stand in line in the freezing cold to get a plate of bacon and eggs or go next door, be seated immediately, served quickly and enjoy a reasonably priced meal.
I also had a disagreement with a waitress at Busick Court once. The special of the day was clearly marked for a certain price. When I went to pay, she told me that my soup cost more than the "special" soup. I showed her the sign where it made no mention of any particular type of soup. I explained that had I known (had it been posted) that only one type of soup was available as part of the special, I would have ordered the soup that came with the special. I did, in fact, order the special, so they should not have even asked me if I wanted a different type of soup. Since they DID ask, they should have at least warned me that I was no longer going to get the special price.
Anyway, long story short, the waitress would not give me the advertised price. When I stated I would only pay what the sign advertised, she angrily dug into her own tips to pay the difference.
I don't the need the attitude, crowds or pompousness. I don't recommend Busick Court very highly at all.
This place has the nicest people, cheapest and best breakfast!! Nowhere in Salem compares for breakfast!
Eh...: Not great, better breakfast elsewhere.

Hey Mattman, you were probably a jerk. Being pleasant and friendly, I am sure I would have easily gotten the "special" soup price.
