We ordered a pizza this evening and were told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. We did not get the pizza until an hour and 20 minutes later with no apologies from the driver, which was not a huge deal, BUT after receiving our pizza, it was cold, had a strange flavor, and it was not worth what I paid for it. I called to let them know, and the owner, Richard, spoke with me very abruptly and told me that he had "baked that pizza himself, and it was in good quality upon leaving the restaurant." After telling him what had happened with the delivery as well, he told me that "no one should have said 45 minutes," then he said "what do you want, do you want a pizza on the board or what?" VERY RUDELY! I told him I did not want anything and would never order pizza from him again. He then hung up on me! We have ordered pizza from Pizza Cucina for years, but after having the owner treat me in that manner after receiving an awful pizza, they will never get our business again. You cannot treat people like crap and expect them to come back for more! This was absolutely distasteful and very unprofessional, and I am shocked that it was actually the owner that was speaking to me in this manner. My recommendation, go to Abby's, at least they are respectful to you!

This little pizza place is cute inside. The white pizza and green pizza's are good. The prices aren't bad for what you get. The amount of toppings seem to be just fine on the pizzas that I have tried. They also offer vegetarian pizzas which is the white and or green pizza. The white pizza doesn't have red sauce it has a cream sauce and the green pizza has pesto. They are to die for along with the side salad.

This is one of the best pizza places around these parts! I just had a slice of pizza w/pesto & sun-dried tomatoes... best flavor. Could have ate an entire pizza!! Has a great authentic taste-- nice atmosphere. If your ever in Newport and want some yummy, unforgettable flavor... Eat there. (Their bread sticks are also a piece of perfection).
