Hello all I am an employee of Ocean Trails Riding Stables for the past 11 years. I want to respond to the negative comment posted about us. Our horses have moved to a new location right in lincoln city. The person who posted the comment about filthy conditions has not ever ridden with us and has been harassing us and our customers. If she did her research she would know that there has never been a case of ecoli in horses. Thsi same comment is on every web site we are affiliated with. I know that we take extreme care of our horses and invite anyone to come and see for themselves. We keep up on all vacines and worming so horses don't get sick or thin or unhealthy. 15 horses are kept in pens on less than one acre 24-7. The horse manure is not cleaned up. The horses roll in their own manure. The horses are fed on top of their own manure. The horses stand and sleep in their own manure. I'd be concerned about E.Coli risks similar to the petting zoo incidents where children got sick after touching animals kept in filthy conditions.
