Misako Japanese Restaurant

Misako is no longer in business- the link for the restaurant is dead. There is a new sushi restaurant in the same place, the fact that they can't take the time to fully change the signs on the place makes me not want to visit.

I've been here twice now and I LOVE their sushi!! The ONLY complaint I have is the wait time - it is a bit ridiculous to wait an hour for your food...Especially the second time I went there - we were the second group in the restaurant and about 5 different groups came in after us and got served before us. BUT - the sushi is amazing and priced right. I also tried their Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and that's excellent too! Be sure to check out my photos.

We went here to see how good the sushi was at this downtown Eugene restaurant. The first time we went, it was Valentine's day and they weren't allowing folks without reservations to come in and we hadn't made a reservation. So we thought, hey, if other couples are coming here for Valentines day, it must be a special place and put it on our list to come at a less hectic time of year. We came back in mid-March--not exactly the busiest time of the year--to go get some grub. We waited for an hour and a half to get our food and the place was more than half empty. And when we finally got our food, it was quite possibly the worst sushi we've ever had. Normally, I just grin and bear it...but this was bad. Stay away. Stay far, far away. It was more like...bait.
