User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSmugs as the locals call it has very good breakfast and a wonderful view of the ocean. They have a full bar with a piano player and areally good clam bucket. Dinner is expensive so bring your wallet. But the food is good. Not my first choice for dinner in Brookings but good cheapp place for early breakfast

NEW YEARS EVE AT SMUGGLERS COVE: WE WERE THERE FOR NEW YEARS EVE, LOTS OF LOCAL FLAVOR, GREAT FOOD, QUICK SERVICE & FESTIVE. A NICE CHANGE FROM SO. CAL AND ALL WITHOUT SALES TAX.

Anyone who could tell me if this place would be ideal to host an event for 40 people in the Brookings area would be great!
