I LOVE this bar.
Now I am talking about the Loft in the back of the place. It's 21 and over, the atmosphere is wonderful, they have a fireplace with loft seating, and more seating downstairs and a bar as well. We have beeb there when there is live music and it sounds fantastic! So much better than anywhere else I've been in Eugene. The beers are a great price and the appetizers are as big as meals if you eat like I do. I love the cajun fried oysters and the veggie cheese bread. YUM-O, living fairly close,we try to go turtles once a week.
Bad news:
The service is hit and miss, we aren't thrilled with the "take your time" wait staff that works the loft. The last couple of times have been really slow waitstaff(not busy, just slow), so I just went down and got our food from the bartender, it was faster.
Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Was treated terribly by a brunette bartender. Did not get her name, kinda tall and a long face. She was rude and acted like she was about 10 years old. Took her time making expensive drinks and acted like she was doing me a favor by making them. One bartender ruined a regular customer she was so rude. Food was OK and overpriced. I will not be going back.

Great food and good service. I have been here many times, though they can have a bad moment or two in general my experience has always been pleasant. I have been there twice when there was a miss communication between customer and staff and instead of being patient the customer reacted horribly... I was embarrassed both times for the customer involved. All in all it is on par with other restaurants of that type or better. The food is great and the variety is impressive.
