Best thing about the place are the rolls & butter, but those have shrunk since the last time I was there, still good, but little and flat.

Great service, great food, and decently priced. I'd take Roadhouse over Outback any day!!!

I took my out-of-town guests here for what I thought would be a good, regional dining experience. The meal took 3 hours (!), service stank, and the food was not what I had hoped. We were finally seated after 25 minutes, and could not get bar service (in the bar) while waiting. No local wines were offered. The owner brought us a "free" appetizer, which wasn't good; then the item appeared on the tab. Luckily, one of my guests noticed it was deducted at the bottom before I blew my cool.

The serving on my plate was not near the portion shown in the menu picture; and I had to send it back to the kitchen, as it was served cold (congealed french fries -- ick!). Pretty sure they just micro-waved it.

My guest's entree salad was primarily small chunks of (slightly limp) iceberg lettuce with half a hard-boiled egg, a jalapeno, and a too-skimpy slice of salmon. She was disappointed. I was embarrassed.

My other guest's ground sirloin was almost worth the wait, and the coleslaw was delicious. Sad when the dinner rolls are the highlight of the meal. I won't be back.
