User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe live in Springfield and went to Hidalgoâs for the first time on 09/11/09, on a quick turnaround to Reno. We arrived at 10:45am for an early lunch. The manager finally unlocked the doors at about 11:10. Our server (the manager) was adequate, but a bit surly and heavy-handed. The food was at least on par with other Mexican restaurants weâve eaten at (which has been hundreds) and was fresh, hot, and tasty. The prices were decent and the interior was clean. If I had a major gripe with the place it would be: WHY NO BEER ON TAP?

I think they have the best Mexican Food in Klamath falls. The typical Mexican dishes are good, but what makes them my favorite is that all of their grilled meat/seafood dishes are very good. Carne Asada, Pollo Asada, Camarones are some of my favorites. The margaritas are very good (and strong) and the salsa they bring to the table is leaps and bounds above anything else in this town. Highly recommend.

We came to Hidalgo's after waiting for our food at another mexican restaurant called Cancun for an hour and fifteen min and we really liked our service and food at Hidalgo's. We ordered and we were eating in ten minutes.

We ate at Hidalgo's early August. The Salsa was horrible- watered down and the service was poor. We had to summon the help to get even a glass of water! Will NEVER eat there again.
