Wasabi Sushi

I think this is a wonderful little restaurant to get sushi rolls or bento boxes. It is kind of small inside, so limit yourself to 4 people or less, but other than that I have no complaints. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. I just started eating sushi within the last year and I probably eat here at least every other week, if not more. I recommend the Dragon Roll or the Crazy Roll, which are a couple of my favorites!!

Wasabi has the freshest, best tasting sushi in Medford. Few people know about it because it is tucked away in the corner of a small strip mall. The restaurant is extremely clean, which hasn't been my experience with the other Japanese restaurants in town.

Their combination of rolls are the best I have found at any of the numerious suchi restaurants I have been to around the state, including those in Portland. I would recommend it over all other sushi restaurants in the Rogue Valley area. The husband and wife that own the restaurant are extremely nice, which add to the ambience of the restaurant. They also own another sushi restaurant in San Fransico. Even though they have limited staff, they provide great service with a sincere and friendly smile. I recommend that you try the Sexy roll. It's excellent.

The most adorable Korean couple owns this small restaurant tucked in the corner of the Cedar Mall, not too far from Providence Hospital. It's clean, tastefully decorated with oil paintings of roses. The artwork is creatied by the lady owner's best friend. As the last posting mentioned, neither owner speaks much English, however the service is friendly. The atmosphere pleasant and clean. The sushi is fresh. You could sit at the 3 seat bar and watch the guy make it or sit at one of the 6 tables. Lunch time is busy, but worth the wait. Service is fast. Try the bento box for lunch, under $10. Kindness leaves a strong impression... one time I popped in at closing time, about 9 PM. While the wife was preparing for closing, the husband made me a meal with a complimentary salad since I was waiting for the food to be made. They said, "because I drove a long way and they didn't want to turn away me hungry."
