Yeah...Sterile is right. I have more fun going to the dentist! The food is boring and overpriced. There are many better restaurants in Ashland.
Great dinner: Based on a previous review we came here for dinner. We had reservations, recommend them. The food is very good, particularly my halibut dinner and the homemade sorbet and honey icecream for dessert. The restaurant is clearly fancy but sterile and cold in feel. The waiters are polite but chilly and not well humored. The accoustics aren't good, it's hard to hear anyone when they talk for some reason. Bruschetta appetizer was good, but toast so hard you couldn't bite it, we ate the tops off!
Warning! If you make a reservation...: If you make a reservation (online or by phone), make sure you specify that you want to sit inside, not outside on the patio. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. When I showed up they took us out to the patio where it was terribly hot. (In the 90s.) I asked to sit inside, but they said nothing was available. They told us we should have specified inside when we made the reservation. We didn't even know they had a patio. They gave us no alternatives so, we left. The food looked good, but it's not enjoyable if you're too hot.
