i have heard that they are now remodeled and like a supermarket. does this mean they will be competing with the local markets??? will they be putting out weekly ads like the local markets?? where are they getting their produce?? is it locally grown??

Rose,
Cartwrights has always run an ad in the paper on Tuesday evenings. It is not an insert, however. It is usually in Section A, I believe and part of the printed page, similar to the Farmer's Market ad. I do not know where they get their produce, but they have carried produce and several other things for quite some time, now.
I have never been very impressed with the quality of the produce and I do not like the smell in there. But now that the new building is finished, perhaps thing shave changed. They sometimes run a goos special on boneless, skinless chicken breast and I will buy 40 lbs. at a time of those about once or twice a year.
