This was food was spectacular!!! It was my first time their with my husband and we absolutely fell in love with it! We were just driving buy and we saw this beautiful restaurant everyone was talkinga about it and we went inside to look at the menu. The atmosphere felt great, the hostess immediately greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us the special. We told her we wanted to just order something to go, but my husband felt really fell in love with the interior decoration and so we got a table. The hostess made sure the booth was cleaned up and got the waitress to come right away! We had our drinks in under a minute and our appetizers came shortly after. The waitress always checked up on us and treated us like family. It was honestly the best meal i have ever had! It was simple and my husband had spaghetti that was so full of flavor. The tomatoes, and all the herbs and spices used to make the sauce one could taste. You could tell the sauce was made there and not just canned, typical "Ragu" like sauce, but real Italian. We are so excited to go back again and we are so happy for all the great service and excellent chefs at Antonio's!
My mother in law had her Work Holiday party at Antonios in Eagle Piont and had nothing but great things to say about them! I was so excited that finally we might have found a really good italian restarant in So.Oregon. I was either there on the wrong night, or my mother in law has awful taste buds. The service was almost non existent. The food was mediocre. Isn't Scampi made with a garlic butter sauce? The one I had was dry noodles (except for the water left at the bottom of the bowl) and flavorless dry shrimp and zucchini, with a few mushrooms mixed in.- no sauce at all. The steaks were paper thin, and the only good item at the table was the rigatoni with marinara sauce that was served as a side dish. My daughter seemed to like her chicken alfredo, until she got a very uncooked lump of fettucinni. The older waitress seemed to have the personality of a rock, and was too busy with her two other tables (there were only three tables full in the entire place) to make sure we had our drinks or spend any attention to our table. The one saving grace was the bartender who finally realized the waitress was not going to get our drinks or our food order and came and took our order for her. The new younger waitress in training also tried to take up the slack We had to get up from our table three or four times to get help, and then again to get to go containers. The crowning insult was when we asked for our bill and the bartender added it up and left it on the counter for the waitress from hell. It sat there for a while until we got up from the table and demanded our check. We paid and left, but we will not be back- ever! If I owned that restaraunt, that lazy waitress would be looking for a job at the nearest Dennys! Very bad and dissappointing dinner. If I could give it no stars, I would!
Well, I definitely disagree with any negative review given. I have been a customer of Antonio's since their first business on main street. The new restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the staff has great service! The owner is in the kitchen cooking again afer a time off and I can not complain. The cuisine is fabulous and real italian. My husband is from Italy and we go here all the time and he says it reminds him of his grandmother's cooking. If a customer wants real Italian food that will fill them up for their money's worth then definitely come here. Don't wast your money with canned sauces and packaged pasta from other supposedly "fine dining" retaurants too. I recommend Antonio's Italian Restaurant for anyone who wants a fantastic meal. My favorite is the lasagna. You can share it and it's delicious. It is made everyday and it comes with soup or salad! I hope new customers come in and try this place too! It is a family restaurant, but i noticed their is a bar in the corner too so i'm sure you can come in their and eat too!
