Though it is a bit spendy for those of us on a shoestring budget, it really is worth it! This is a small town without lots of arts and culture. The museum is literally an oasis in this desert. It's age appropriate for anyone from babies to adults. The animal exhibits are great for the little kids while the hands-on historical exhibits are a wonderful learning tool for older kids who are visiting or who live here year round. There are many events that happen throughout the year from live music to interpretive talks. We're thinking about investing in a family pass (our toddler loves it). The place is huge and there's lots to explore on the property as well as within the museum proper. Make sure to hit one of the "birds of prey" talks while you're there! Support your local arts!
