Jimmy Chan's Restaurant

JImmy Chan's is the perfect place for a night out. Friday night with friends or with my family, it's nice to find a restaurant that, I feel, really values me as a customer by offering comfortable seating, service, and food. I trust the cooking, which is something I value highly in Baker! I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

It's unfortunate that the other reviewer experienced such, but in my opinion (and many others share it), it is one of the best restaurants, especially for Chinese food. It is exceptionately clean, very well serviced, and all around wonderful dining. The food is well prepared and is made at the restaurant (nothing is store bought- even the egg rolls and pot stickers are made at the place). I know some people who make a detour on journeys just for their pork noodles (one couple from Utah) and others who swear by their General Tso's. Again, it is a shame that the couple experienced such on their visits, but I have been there many times with various people and can attest that it is the best Chinese I have ever had.

Ugh. Terrible. The first time we visited Baker we tried Jimmy Chan's, and it was awful. We thought that maybe it was an off night, maybe the head cook wasn't working. So the next time we were visiting, we tried it again. My boyfriend's pork dish was dry and lacking any flavor, and he added so much Chinese mustard trying to get it to taste good. My noodle entree was so bland, and the veggies in it were soggy.

Terrible food. Regardless that the service was decent, it wasn't worth it.
