El Burrito is an Authentic Mexican Restaurant and Tortillaria and is Bend's best kept secret!! It's been in Bend for 20+ years (just moved around a couple times) and has the charm and food that takes you right to Mexico. It has many homemade recipies and everything is made fresh for you when you order it. The best part is that all their incredibly delicious food is made from only the best products, and is made daily from scratch at the restaurant (including the tortillas, desserts, and drinks, such as horchata!!).
There now are new owners, Judy and Jason Fuentes (who are amazing), who took over a little over a year ago but have kept Rose's family's tradition, cooks, and recipes to ensure great quality food and environment for everyone!! The staff is wonderful too, and are very nice and attentive to your needs.
When you come, you'll have to try the delicious fajitas along with the one-of-a-kind Chile Rellenos. Their Margaritas are the best in town, too!! Don't forget to try the Chicken Tortilla Soup also, which is something that you will never have it anywhere else like they make it! I even went to Mexico this summer and it just wasn't the same!
I could keep rambling and rambling about this incredibly place, but you'll just have to try it yourself and see how delicious it is and you won't be able to not tell people about it!!!! ENJOY!!
