Pizza was greasy and heavy, it was thick but the crust edges were buttery, a greek salad is 10 dollars...at a greek restaurant, the greek place right down the road gives you one free with every entre. They don't offer a greek pizza at all...once again... at a greek restaurant. For those who don't know a greek pizza is just garlic, sauteed spinach and some olive oil in place of a red sauce. As a chef I know keeping a little bit of spinach in a walk-in can't hurt turnover too much and they sure as hell have some olive oil and garlic lying around. Their are better places that are close.
Athens Pizza in Auburn is the best pizza that I have found locally. I travel up 40 miles round trip for this scrumptious pie. I usually get the Athens Special well done with extra onions. The cold cut grinder with extra onions is also lip smacking good. Service is fast and friendly. You can't go wrong there.

if you like greek style pizza, this is a darn good one...very funky interior, mediocre service but old time pizza, salads.
