User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe are a huge Chinese eating couple who moved here just a few months back. We have tried all but one of the Chinese food restaurants in La Grande and this is by far the favorite. Inexpensive for our favorites. Course, we have only been in for lunch prices.
Love thier sweet and sour sauce and the breading on their shrimp and chicken is divine! The pork fried rice took a little getting used to. I think they use a lot of ginger in it. Still tastes good!
They strive to serve, even when they are busy. Looks like they are remodeling a bit. It is a little dark inside but not too bad.
I give it five stars for taste and service!-

i'm a huge fan of chinese food and i have tried all the restaurants around the nation. this is one of the best chinese restaurants i have experienced, excellent service, great price and friendly environment.

The Golden Crown has wonderful food cooked to perfection! The prices are unbeatable. The owners and staff are totally awesome!!!! If you want an awesome meal at a reasonable price served by warm friendly people in a very timely manner The Golden Crown is what you are looking for.
