Nearly all entrees have the same sauce, a sugar and salt mix, and they won't make something to order. This I established when trying to locate a menu item without sugar. My options were few and what I ordered wasn't particularly good. Service was okay and the decor is acceptable although it is simply a big room with lots of tables. My opinion is that the restaurant is best suited for those who want Americanized Chinese in an atmosphere of hubbub and chatter. Sometimes that's fun, as in The Cheesecake Factory. But there is nothing special about the place and it is run too much like a food factory to suit my taste.
I absolutely love this restaurant! I make sure to go here on a regular basis. If you eat here, get the lettuce wrap appetizer...it is literally the best thing you'll ever eat. I also recommend the chicken dishes (orange peel chicken, lemon chicken, etc.) and I think these are a better reflection of the restaurant than the noodles dishes. The orange peel chicken is my favorite!
If you are thinking about going for dinner on Friday or Saturday night, be sure to make a reservation the morning of or the day before. I can't stress than enough!!! You'll be waiting for 2 hours for a table if you don't because the place is so popular.
We just left SeaTac Airport, were hungry, and totally forgot it was St. Valentine's Day. The host gave us a pager and seated us within 20 minutes. The waiter was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great. It was the American spin of Chinese but it was still a fine experience for my first time eating there. The 2 bite desserts were so much fun and we will definately go again!
