Well guys I hope this review gets to enough of you to stop the problem that happened to my son & I last season. I just could not let this season pass with out a warning to my fellow hunters! Duanes meats in auburn handled or white tail last season . The animal was handled with the utmost care while inour hands. Harvested @ 8:00 am & gutted & packed with 80# of ice within 40 minutes. 45 degree weather,We headed home ,A three hour drive. We hung the deer until morning ,Still the weather was barely above thirty .In the morning we delivered the deer to duanes. It took two weeks to get the meat back! I only saw 7 deer in the shop as we arrived. We were back on day two of the late hunt. we got the meat back & the amazement & dissapointment set in, some of the meat was spoiled some was fine. there was fur all over in the ground meat. Our animal was washed completly before delivery,hence no fur on the animal. After thirty years of hunting I know what I like! tollofson brothers used to handle my game for me in edmonds & I never had suck issues & the meat was normally returned in just a few days. Duanes could have done their work for free & I still wouldve felt cheated. This year Im doing myself! Thanks for reading

So Impressed: We wanted to find better quality meat - even if it meant paying quite a bit more than the grocery store - we went into Duane's and not only got far superior quality - but a much LOWER price than we had been paying! He is awesome - he will customize an order for you and has several 'packages' that are staples for us now. Every night we have some I marvel at the quality and taste and am thankful we found him!
